Toqi telpakfurushon

Hi everyone🖐️I am Marjona Ilkhomova.And today our 9th practical lesson and we visited to one of the well-known monument-Toqi telpakfurushon is one of the preserved traditional indoor bazaars of Bukhara.



It was built in 1570-1571 under Abdullakhan,one of the rulers of the Shaibanid dynasty.It was the Shaibanids who began to make Bukhara an important commercial centre,situated at the crossroads of many caravan routes.The symbol of the achievement of this goal were the trade domes that gathered traders from different parts of the world under their roofs.


Its central part is an amazingly beautiful spherical dome with small openings cut through.The dome is supported by 6 pylons it has 12 sided lighting.Tourists are especially interested in viewing the dome from inside.The diameter of the main dome of Toqi telpakfurushon is 14.5 metres.



Today tourists can visit Toqi telpakfurushon to see a building with a long history and buy various souvenirs,antiques,clothes,scarves made by local craftsmen.In this famous place of Bukhara you can still buy a variety of scarves and beautiful hats.You can negotiate with the sellers and lower the price although it is not as high as the tourists write.

Today I got a lot of information about the history of Toqi telpakfurushon monument.This day was very memorable and informative for me.Also I bought some kind of things from this bazaars.And it was very interesting.

 Day 1 11/13/2023 Nogʼay karvansaray  Hello to everyone.👋😊My name is Marjona. Today is the first day of our practice and we were in Nogʻay karvansaray.We got together at 10:30 and the weather was very cold. Firstly,teacher checked our attendance and we started giving information about today's monument.Also teacher gave information us about its history and construction. Nogay Caravanserai is a monument of cultural heritage located in the historical center of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Included in the national list of immovable property objects of the material and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan - under state protection [1]. Caravanserai Tower is adjacent to the western gable of the Sarrofon trade dome. Nogai caravanserai is located in the western part of Sarrofon architectural complex. The Nogai caravanserai was built in 1720-1721 on the place of the Sokhta caravanserai, which belonged to Qulbobo Kokaldosh and burned down later.  Day 2 11/14/2023 Archeological park Hi my dears👋😊Today was our second practice day.Weather was cool.We started our practice at 10:30 oʻclock.We got tegether in Ark castle.Also teacher checked our attendance.After that all of us gave many information about todayʼs monument . The event was attended by specialists in tourism, cultural heritage and museology, archaeological scientists, foreign tourists, public representatives, residents, and media workers. At the park's opening ceremony, it was noted that after 103 years, this site, closed to visitors to the ancient city, has finally opened its doors to everyone. It is noteworthy that within the framework of this project, supported by UNESCO and implemented in collaboration with scientists from the famous French Louvre Museum, a 120- meter section of the wall on the back side of the Ark fortress was covered with baked bricks, the corridors and covered barn were restored, and several additional amenities for tourists were created.  Day 4 11/16/2023 Sayfiddin karvansarai First of all Assalomu alaykum🙃👋.Today was our 4th internship.Todayʼs weather was very sunny and hot.✨🥰We were in Sayfiddin karvansarai.We got together at 10:30. Firstly teacher cheched our attendance and we started giving information about this monument. Saifiddin Caravanserai is a monument of cultural heritage in the historical center of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Coal objects of the material and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan are included in the national real estate property - state resources. Before the Bukhara revolution of 1920, he was engaged in tea wholesale. Currently, there is a craft center in the caravanserai building. Also today our teacher gave us many information and interesting facts about this monument.In addition he asked from us many questions related to todayʼs karvansarai.
